Expansion and modernization of the Intelligent Container and Cargo Terminal iHub in Łódź – Centrostal Łódź S.A.

  • Objective: The main objective of the project is to increase the transshipment potential of the iHub Container and Cargo Terminal in Łódź, enabling the terminal to achieve higher handling capacity. The investment will lead to greater use of this environmentally friendly and more sustainable form of transport in freight transportation. In addition, it will improve the efficiency and quality of intermodal transport services, thereby contributing to their promotion and increasing their attractiveness. As a result, the investment will increase transport performance in intermodal transport. The project will also contribute to shifting part of road transport to rail, which will reduce the environmental impact of freight transport by limiting CO₂ emissions.
  • Milestones:
    • Prace budowlane: rozbudowa terminala i budowa zbiornika retencyjnego
    • Purchase of loading and unloading equipment, implementation of a TOS-type IT system together with container positioning and visualization
